Dopo un silenzio di tre anni dal suo album di debutto In the Lonely Hour, Samuel Frederick Smith, meglio conosciuto come Sam Smith è tornato con un nuovo singolo.

È stato rilasciato oggi Too Good At Goodbyes, singolo che anticipa il suo prossimo lavoro discografico previsto entro la fine dell’anno.

“Questa canzone parla di una relazione che mi ha coinvolto e fondamentalmente tratta di come si può stare bene dopo che si viene mollati. È da molto tempo che non pubblico qualcosa di nuovo, e penso che questo primo singolo fissi lo stile di ciò che arriverà in seguito”.

Too Good At Goodbyes fondamentalmente parla di un cuore che decide di mettere delle barriere tra se stesso e ciò che ama, ma che allo stesso tempo, lo ferisce a morte. È una storia di sofferenza e rinascita. È amore per se stessi anche quando questo potrebbe farci apparire freddi e insensibili.
