Oscar 2021: annunciate le shortlist

Oscar 2021, pubblicate le shortlist di nove categorie

Sono state da poco rese note le shortlist di nove categorie per gli Oscar 2021. A farlo, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences che ha quindi comunicato i nomi dei film che potrebbero concorrere per gli Academy Award 2021. Per chi non lo sapesse, le shortlist non sono altro che le liste preliminari per le categorie Miglior documentario, Miglior corto documentario, Miglior film straniero, Miglior trucco, Miglior colonna sonora originale, Miglior canzone originale , Miglior corto d’animazione, Miglior cortometraggio e Migliori effetti speciali. Non si tratta quindi delle nomination, che verranno annunciate il 15 marzo, ma una selezione da cui degli esperti sceglieranno i nomi definitivi. A rappresentare l’Italia c’è Notturno, di Gianfranco Rosi, nella categoria migliori documentari; non ce l’ha però fatta a rientrare in quella del miglior film straniero.

La vita davanti a sé di Edoardo Ponti con la madre Sophia Loren è in corsa nella categoria colonna sonora e canzone originale, Io sì/ Seen di Diane Warren, cantata da Laura Pausini, mentre Pinocchio di Matteo Garrone compete nella categoria make up e acconciatura. Ecco la lista completa:
